Kembabazi Edvinah (ID# 363)

Edvinah is born in a family of 5 children (2 boys and 3 girls), and she is the last born of the five. Her father passed on due to HIV/AIDS and they have been living with a sickly mother who is equally HIV positive and struggles a lot in order to care for her children. The children are being helped by the struggling grandparents and the status is really wanting. They live in small plot of land which doesn’t produce enough for family consumption but have to rent land so that they can get enough food. Their house is in bad state and requires repairing and working on the floor. Edvinah dreams of one day being a nurse to help sick people. A sponsor would really help her be able to attend school regularly and have a chance at those dreams.
