Katushabe Martha (ID# 303)

Martha stays with her paternal grandmother having lost her father when she was six years old. Her father was beaten to death in the city where he was working as a cyclist and her mother abandoned her and her siblings. They are now under the care of their aging and sickly grandmother who is also HIV positive. During her holidays, Martha helps her grandmother by doing home chores such as washing the utensils and cleaning the house. She is a very humble and quiet girl.
