Benedict stays with his mother, who is helpless due to being H.I.V positive and asthmatic, having lost his father at a young age. They have no house or land of their own. Getting rent and food for the family is a struggle because of the mother’s health status. He is a very responsible young boy who has always been the best in his class; he is determined for a bright future and can make it with a sponsor’s help. His future dream is to become a doctor and that has always been his wish.
