Amumpaire Ruth (ID# 500)

Ruth’s father died of diabetes and he was HIV positive. She was left under the care of her sickly mother who is also HIV+ and their source of survival is just working in other people’s gardens to get some food to eat. She looks stressed and traumatized and says that she would like to become a nurse in future. Thought their situation is dire, Ruth is very determined and hopeful for a bright future.
