Akankwasa Matsiko (ID# 455)

Matsiko is the first born in a family of 4 children (3 boys and 1 girl). He has seen it all after losing his father to HIV AIDS leaving them under the care of his sickly mother, also HIV positive. He is the one that looks for food for his siblings and his mother. The children look miserable and really need a hand to lean on. He has considered dropping out of school completely but hopes for a sponsor to help their family so that he can continue. He says that his big dream is to become a doctor.
